Electrical Schematics

When you have your home’s electricity inspected, you need two engineering drawings that schematically represent the electrical circuit: the single-wire diagram and the situation diagram.

We use a drawing program (Trikker), which allows us to prepare and deliver professionalsingle-wire diagram s and situation diagram s of electrical installations.

There are two types of electrical diagrams that make up your home’s electrical plan. On the one hand, there is the single-wire diagram and on the other, the situation diagram. Thanks to both diagrams, you have a complete overview of your home’s electrical system. You know very precisely how electricity runs through your home, which appliances are connected to which taps, where the switches and light points are, and much more.

  • On the one-wire diagram, you can see through the walls, so to speak. It is a simplified representation on which you can see exactly how the electrical circuit is put together.
  • The situation diagram, on the other hand, looks like the floor plan of your house and visualizes the visible side of the electrical circuit, so to speak.

The single-wire diagram and situation diagram are not only important for the electrical inspection or when selling your home, but are also a useful tool for yourself.

When you have your home’s electricity inspected, you need both a single-wire diagram and a situation diagram of the electrical system.

If you cannot present this, the electricity will be rejected immediately.

Today, you also need these electrical diagrams when selling your home.

When a repair or work is needed on your electricity, these diagrams are what will help you or your electrician help determine which switch to turn off in the fuse box.

This can be prepared by anyone, only if you have no electrical knowledge, better leave it to us to ensure a positive outcome.
